These vehicles were known as the Land Crab, a term publicised by a journalist from an aerial view. Factory termed it as the BMC AD017 and Morris and Wolseley names were also used on production. Spacious interior and large boot, they were great family cars but not popular. As a result limited numbers of these Austin Saloons available. Original paintwork has a few rust spots otherwise still good. Original interior good except for some ware on the carpeting. 5 new tyres. Austin 1800cc 4 cylinder motor, Single SU Carburettor and 4 speed gearbox. Hydrolastic suspension same as on the Austin 1100 models. Drives well and good open road performance.
